A rare frozen plain punctuated by towering spikes of packed ice - one of the most photogenic biomes in the game.

Structures
- None exclusive; occasional ruined portals
Why go
- Packed ice for fast boat highways - this is the easiest bulk source before you get Silk Touch on blue ice crafting. The scenery is a bonus.
Tips
- Silk Touch is required to harvest the spikes.
- Strays spawn only under open sky - build a roofed shelter and you are safe.
- Blue ice (9 packed ice each) is the fastest boat surface; farm it here or in icebergs.
