Stony Shore
Overworld (mountain)
Cliffs of bare stone and gravel that drop straight into the ocean, replacing beaches where mountains meet the coast. Stark, dramatic and snow-dusted on the peaks - with the deep dark never far below.

Resources
- Stone and gravel in bulk
- Buried treasure (Bedrock Edition)
- Snow on the highest cliffs (above about Y=120)
- Exposed ores on the cliff faces
Mobs
- Standard hostile mobs at night
- Glow squid in the waters below
- No passive mobs spawn on the bare stone
Structures
- No surface structures (buried treasure in Bedrock)
- Deep dark generates close beneath these cliffs
Why go
- Dramatic cliff bases with sea views
- Gravel for flint without cave mining
- Direct digging access down into dripstone caves and the deep dark
Tips
- Falls into the water are survivable; falls onto the stone are not - watch the edge.
- Dig straight down carefully: the deep dark below means sculk shriekers.
- The cliffs make natural walls for a coastal base - terrace them for farms.
