Overworld (temperate)
A plains variant carpeted with sunflowers - the only biome where they grow naturally. Every sunflower faces east, making the whole field a living compass.

- Sunflowers (2 yellow dye each, only found here)
- Oak trees, sometimes with bee nests
- Azure bluets, oxeye daisies, cornflowers and tulips
- Hay bales and loot in villages
Mobs
- Horses, donkeys, sheep, cows, pigs
- Bees around the flower fields and nest oaks
- Standard hostile mobs at night
Structures
- Villages and pillager outposts (Bedrock only - they do not generate here in Java)
Why go
- Only natural source of sunflowers - stock up for dye and decoration
- Navigation trick: sunflowers always face east
- Same easy start as plains: flat, open, full of animals and flowers for early dye
- Prime bee-farming territory with flower cover everywhere

- Lost? Plant or find a sunflower: it points east.
- One sunflower crafts into 2 yellow dye - a small field is a lifetime supply
- In Java, no villages or outposts generate in this exact variant - check regular plains nearby
- Bee nests appear on the scattered oaks: bring a campfire before harvesting
