- Do NOT punch it directly: it teleports up to 15 blocks away (31x15x31 volume)
- Torch trick: break the block under it with a torch placed below so the egg falls onto it and drops as an item - or push it with a piston
Uses
- Pure trophy: the rarest block in a survival world, proof you beat the dragon
- It teleports when you try to mine it, is gravity-affected, and always drops itself in explosions
- No crafting, no hatching - the egg does not hatch, ever, in vanilla
Renewability
One per world in Java (two in Bedrock). Guard it: if it falls into the exit portal or void, it is gone for good.
