Enchanted Golden Apple

Combat Stack: 64 Since Java 1.3.1 (craftable until 1.9)

How to get it

• Cannot be crafted since 1.9 - loot-only
• Chest loot in monster rooms, mineshafts, woodland mansions, ancient cities, bastion remnants, ruined portals and trial chambers vaults - always rare, a few percent at best
• Ancient cities and trial chambers are the most generous modern sources

Uses

• Eat it for the strongest food buff in the game: Absorption IV for 2 minutes (16 extra hearts), Regeneration II for 20 seconds in Java (30 in Bedrock), Fire Resistance for 5 minutes and Resistance I (20% less damage) for 5 minutes
• Keep one in the hotbar for boss fights - Wither, warden or a hard raid wave
• Also works as a horse, donkey or mule treat for taming, breeding and healing

Renewability

Not renewable: fixed chest loot only.

Java vs Bedrock

Regeneration lasts 20 seconds in Java (heals 16 HP) and 30 in Bedrock (heals 24 HP); everything else is identical.
