- Plant it on soul sand to grow your own - it needs no light and no water, only time
Uses
- Brew the awkward potion: water bottle + nether wart is the base of almost every potion in the game (weakness is the exception)
- Craft nether wart blocks (9 wart) for storage, and red nether bricks with nether bricks
- No fortress nearby? Cleric villagers never sell it - you must find a fortress or bastion at least once
Renewability
Renewable: once you have one wart, soul sand farming multiplies it forever.
