How to get it

• Kill zombies, zombie villagers, husks, drowned and zombified piglins: 0-2 each
• Fish it up as junk, or accept it as a gift from a tamed cat at about 16%
• A mob farm spits out more rotten flesh than you can ever use

Uses

• Emergency food: restores 4 hunger but with an 80% chance of 30 seconds of Hunger effect
• Feed and breed wolves - they are immune to the rot, so your dog eats free forever
• Trade 32 to novice cleric villagers for 1 emerald: trash becomes currency
• Fuel your mob farm economy by converting zombie drops into emerald pipelines

Renewability

Renewable: zombies spawn every night forever.
