How to get it

• The only source: a baby turtle drops exactly 1 scute when it grows into an adult
• Breed turtles with seagrass, protect the eggs on the home beach, and speed growth by feeding babies seagrass (10% per use)
• There is no other way - not drops, trades, chests or bartering

Uses

• Craft 5 scutes in a helmet shape into a turtle shell: a helmet that grants 10 seconds of Water Breathing when worn
• Brew turtle shells into potions of the Turtle Master (Slowness + Resistance)
• Villager expert clerics do not buy scutes - this is a pure progression material

Renewability

Renewable but slow: every scute means raising a baby turtle (20 minutes base, sped up with seagrass).
