Spawn conditions: Light level 0, on solid blocks in the Overworld. Does not spawn in mushroom fields or the deep dark; groups of four in Java, single in Bedrock.

How to kill Creeper
Hit and retreat to stay out of its 3-block trigger range, or shoot it from a distance. A shield or blocks can fully block the explosion. Cats and ocelots within 6 blocks make creepers flee.
Behavior
Chases players within 16 blocks (14 if crouching). Within 3 blocks it stops, hisses and explodes after 1.5 seconds unless you leave range. Explosion power 3; charged by lightning: 6, equal to an End crystal. Source: minecraft.wiki Creeper.
