How to find Frog

Swamps and mangrove swamps, in groups of 2-5. The variant (temperate orange, warm white, cold green) comes from the biome where the tadpole grows up, not from the parents.

Spawn conditions: Groups of 2-5 in swamp and mangrove swamp biomes. Tadpoles hatch from frogspawn (laid after breeding) and grow into frogs after 20 minutes; the biome they grow up in sets their variant.

How to kill Frog

No reason to: frogs drop only 1-3 experience and never fight back. They are worth far more alive eating slimes and magma cubes.

Behavior

Jumps up to 8 blocks high, prefers lily pads and big dripleaves, swims fast without drowning, and takes 5 less fall damage. Eats small slimes and small magma cubes whole with its tongue: a slime killed by a frog always drops 1 slimeball, and a magma cube drops a froglight - ochre from a temperate frog, pearlescent from a warm frog, verdant from a cold one. Croaks by inflating its vocal sac.

Taming and breeding

Cannot be tamed. Follows players holding slimeballs (6 blocks) and breeds with them: one frog gets pregnant, lays frogspawn in water, and 2-5 tadpoles hatch after 3-10 minutes.
