How to find Pillager
Pillager outposts, wandering patrols, and village raids.
Spawn conditions: Patrols appear after about 5.5 in-game days, 24 to 48 blocks from a player (Bedrock: light level 0-7; 2-5 pillagers, Java: 1-5). Pillagers keep spawning around the top floor of pillager outposts. In raids they are more common in early waves, and one rides a ravager in wave 5.

How to kill Pillager
Rush them or block with a shield; at range they fire arrows from a crossbow. In raids, kill the banner-carrying captain.
Behavior
Armed with a crossbow; attacks players, villagers, wandering traders and iron golems. A crossbow breaks after 465 uses without Unbreaking, and an unarmed pillager is passive. Source: minecraft.wiki Pillager.
