Spawn conditions: Java: 4 sheep above grass at light level 9 or higher, even in snowy taigas but not pale gardens. Bedrock: 2-3 at world generation, light 7 or higher, not in pale gardens, snowy plains, ice spikes or wooded badlands. Six natural colors.

How to kill Sheep
One or two sword hits, but shearing is better than killing.
Behavior
Grazes grass blocks (turning them to dirt) and short grass, which regrows a sheared fleece. Shearing gives 1-3 wool without damage and Fortune or Looting do not affect it. Baby sheep drop nothing. Source: minecraft.wiki Sheep.
