How to find Sulfur Cube
Only in sulfur caves, at any light level. Large cubes spawn naturally; small ones appear when a large one dies.
Spawn conditions: Sulfur caves only, any light level. Large cubes spawn in groups of 2-4; a dying large cube splits into 2 small cubes that grow up over time.

How to kill Sulfur Cube
No reason to kill it: it is passive and harmless. If you do, hits work normally until it absorbs a block - then most attacks just knock it back instead of dealing damage. Use shears to extract the block first.
Behavior
Jumps around aimlessly like a slime, but passive. Its trick: it can absorb a full-sized block (drop one next to it or feed it by hand). While loaded it stops moving and takes knockback instead of damage; the block type changes its bounciness and behavior. Shears extract the block; feeding it another block swaps them. Froglights even glow inside it. Large cubes can be picked up with a bucket and carried anywhere. Two functional archetypes: TNT makes it explosive - ignite it with flint and steel, fire, Fire Aspect, explosions or redstone (6 second fuse, 0.75-2.2s if chained) and it drops nothing and spawns no smalls; magma blocks make it hot, burning nearby mobs. Knockback launches it like a ball: harder hits fly farther, and Knockback and Punch add power.
Taming and breeding
Cannot be tamed or bred. Small cubes grow into large ones after 20 minutes - feed slimeballs to speed it up, or a golden dandelion to freeze growth. Large cubes can be picked up with an empty bucket and do not despawn.
