How to find it
- Generates in beach and snowy beach biomes (Bedrock: also stony shore and mushroom field shore), sometimes on the ocean floor
- Java: the chest is at chunk-section relative 9,9, facing east; Bedrock: 8,8
- Buried treasure maps come from shipwreck map chests
Loot
- Always 1 heart of the sea (only source)
- Iron ingots (99%), gold ingots (88%), cooked cod/salmon (75%), potion of Water Breathing (67%), TNT (63%)
- Emeralds 4-8, prismarine crystals 1-5, diamonds 1-2 (each in about 53-60% of chests)
Dangers
- If exposed to water the chest is waterlogged; drowning while digging underwater
Tips
- Use F3 chunk coordinates to dig at 9,9 in Java.
