Swamp Hut
Overworld
How to find it
- Generates rarely in swamps (not mangrove swamps), in the north-west corner of a chunk
- Swamp explorer maps are sold by jungle, snowy and taiga cartographers
- /locate structure minecraft:swamp_hut
Loot
- Cauldron (empty in Java; 1-3 bottles of a random potion in Bedrock), crafting table, flower pot
- One witch and one black cat spawn at generation and never despawn naturally (no witch on Peaceful)
Dangers
- Witches can spawn anywhere in the 7x7x9 area of the hut
Tips
- Witches and cats wander off; they do not return to the hut on purpose.
- In Bedrock a killed witch respawns on one block, two blocks in front of the crafting table. Source: minecraft.wiki Swamp Hut.
