- Axolotls, glow squid, tropical fish, bats
- Hostile mobs only in unlit corners - the biome is easy to secure
Structures
- Mineshafts and dungeons can intersect; the biome itself has none
Why go
- Axolotls for underwater combat (they fight drowned and guardians), plus the prettiest underground building materials in the game.
Tips
- Find an azalea tree on the surface (a single oak-like tree with flowering leaves) and dig straight down through its rooted dirt.
- Bucket every axolotl color - they breed with tropical fish buckets.
- Spore blossoms break with any tool and drop themselves - collect them for decoration.
