Material Stack: 64 Since Beta 1.4
Quick answer: Craft 2 wheat + 1 cocoa bean in a row: 8 cookies per batch - cocoa beans come from jungle trees.
How to get it
- Craft 2 wheat + 1 cocoa bean in a row: 8 cookies per batch - cocoa beans come from jungle trees
- Buy 18 for 3 emeralds from journeyman-level farmer villagers
- On Java, farmer villagers gift cookies to Hero of the Village players
Uses
- Snack food: 2 hunger each but only 0.4 saturation - good for topping off, bad as a main meal
- Stack-efficient: one cocoa bean and two wheat become 8 cookies, so a stack lasts forever
- Never feed cookies to parrots: chocolate kills them, in Minecraft just like in real life
Renewability
Renewable: wheat farms plus a jungle cocoa bean farm cover infinite batches.
Java vs Bedrock
Identical in Java and Bedrock - including the parrot fatality.
