- Upgrade diamond nautilus armor to netherite on a smithing table: netherite upgrade smithing template + 1 netherite ingot
- Remove it from a nautilus with shears; it also drops when the nautilus dies
Uses
- Equip it on a tamed nautilus or zombie nautilus (use button) for protection: copper 4, iron 5, gold 7, diamond 11, netherite 19 armor points; diamond adds 2 and netherite 3 armor toughness, netherite also knockback resistance
- Like horse armor it has no durability - it never breaks
- Smelt copper, iron or golden nautilus armor for a matching nugget; piglins are attracted to the golden version
- Baby nautiluses cannot wear armor
Renewability
Not renewable: fixed pool of chest loot, though a single armor piece never wears out.
