How to get it

• Harvest mature sweet berry bushes: 2-3 berries each (1-2 from stage 3), +1 per Fortune level
• Find the bushes in taiga, snowy taiga and both old growth taigas - about 1 in 12 chunks has a patch; they also appear in 26.x abandoned camps
• Plant berries on grass, dirt, farmland, podzol, mycelium, moss, mud or muddy mangrove roots to grow your own bushes

Uses

• Eat them: a light snack - the bush is the real prize, not the fruit
• Breed foxes and win baby foxes' trust by feeding the pair sweet berries
• Natural defense: mobs (except foxes) that walk through a berry bush get slowed and pricked - a free thorny fence around your base

Renewability

Renewable: bushes regrow their berries after every harvest.
