How to kill Armadillo

Pointless: it drops no items, only 1-3 experience. While rolled up it takes heavily reduced damage ((damage-1)/2), so wait for it to unroll if you must.

Behavior

Rolls into a ball when hurt, when undead come close, or when a player nearby sprints or rides something. Rolled up it cannot walk or eat and takes (damage-1)/2; it peeks out and unrolls after 3 safe seconds, or instantly on contact with water, fire, magma, freezing or poison, or when leashed. Spiders and cave spiders flee from any armadillo within 6 blocks that is not rolled up. It periodically sheds armadillo scutes, the only source of wolf armor.

Taming and breeding

Cannot be tamed. Follows players holding spider eyes (10 blocks in Java, 16 in Bedrock) and breeds with them; the baby takes 20 minutes to grow, sped up 10% per spider eye. An armadillo that rolls up on the way to its mate loses interest and needs another eye.
