How to find Blaze
Nether fortresses: natural spawns at light level 11 or less, and spawners on up to two platforms per fortress.
Spawn conditions: Nether fortresses, light level 11 or less; groups of 2-3 in Java, 1-3 in Bedrock. A fortress can have up to two spawner platforms, each fenced with Nether brick and reached by a three-block staircase.

How to kill Blaze
Use a shield: it blocks both the fireball damage and the ignition. Fire Resistance removes most of the threat. In melee range it hits once per second.
Behavior
Floats, charges 3 seconds then shoots three small fireballs 0.3 s apart (5 HP base, sets target on fire for 5 s). Melee once per second at under 2 blocks. Source: minecraft.wiki Blaze.
