How to find Parrot
Jungles, bamboo jungles and sparse jungles (Bedrock), in groups of 1-2 above logs, leaves or grass. Five colors: red, blue, green, cyan and gray.
Spawn conditions: Groups of 1-2 in jungle biomes above logs, leaves, grass or air. No babies exist and parrots cannot be bred.

How to kill Parrot
Drops 1-2 feathers. Never feed it a cookie - cookies are toxic and kill parrots instantly, the game way of saying chocolate is poison for real parrots.
Behavior
Imitates the sounds of nearby mobs - including hostile ones, so a sudden zombie groan from your parrot is an early warning system. Tamed parrots sit and stand on interact and perch on your shoulder when you walk through them (up to two, one per shoulder), leaving when you jump, take damage or enter water. They dance to any music disc playing in a jukebox within 3 blocks, a nod to the Party Parrot meme.
Taming and breeding
Tame with any seeds (wheat, melon, pumpkin, beetroot, torchflower) or pitcher pods - each feeding has a 1/10 chance. Cannot be bred; the only way to more parrots is finding more.
