How to kill Vex
They fly through blocks, so hiding does not work. Hit them as they charge. Vexes summoned by an evoker start taking damage after 30 to 119 seconds and die.
Behavior
Flies through any block, including bedrock. Attacks players, adult villagers, iron golems and wandering traders; without a weapon it still targets them but deals no damage. Drops 5 XP when killed by a player or tamed wolf; the iron sword never drops. Source: minecraft.wiki Vex.
