How to Make Mossy Stone Bricks in Minecraft
Guide Java Bedrock
What you need
- 1 stone bricks block per output block
- 1 vine OR 1 moss block per output block
- Pickaxe
- Stonecutter (optional)
Step by step
- Gather stone bricks for the base ingredient.
- Get vines or moss blocks. Either is a valid second ingredient; you do not need both.
- Place one stone bricks and one vine or moss block anywhere in the inventory crafting grid or a crafting table.
- Take one mossy stone bricks block. Repeat for each block you need.
- To make stairs, slabs or walls, put the finished mossy block in a stonecutter. Each block gives one stair, one wall or two slabs.
- Use a pickaxe to collect placed blocks. The stonecutter shapes mossy blocks but does not add moss to ordinary stone bricks.
Java vs Bedrock
The vine and moss-block recipes work in current Java and Bedrock. The recipe is shapeless, so ingredient positions do not matter. Use the ordinary moss block rather than moss carpet.
