How to get it
- Kill a pillager raid captain (the one wearing the ominous banner) outside of a raid - 100% drop at level I-V
- Loot vaults in trial chambers - ominous bottles appear there too, at higher levels in ominous vaults
- Note: only PILLAGER captains drop it; vindicator, evoker and illusioner captains do not
Uses
- Drink it to get Bad Omen at the bottle's level for 100 minutes - you choose when to start the fun
- Enter a village with Bad Omen to transform it into Raid Omen and start a raid (hero loot and discounts await)
- Walk near a trial spawner to transform it into Trial Omen, converting spawners ominous for ominous trial keys
- Drinking a second bottle resets the duration - and only upgrades the level if the new bottle is higher
Renewability
Renewable: captain patrols and outposts keep spawning, and vaults restock per player.
Java vs Bedrock
Same drop and effect in both editions; the raid-level scaling from omen level is Java-only (Bedrock raids ignore the level).
