How to kill Squid

It is passive and never fights back: swim up and hit it. Aim for the body - the tentacles are not part of the hitbox. Out of water it suffocates in 15 seconds, so you can also drag it onto land with a lead.

Behavior

Wanders aimlessly in three dimensions, jetting its tentacles. Not attracted to light and completely passive. Sometimes beaches itself on riverbanks and suffocates. Babies can be fed golden dandelions to speed their growth.

Taming and breeding

Cannot be tamed or bred in survival - baby squid spawn naturally. For its glowing cousin and glow ink sacs, look for glow squid in dark underwater caves instead.
