Nether
Tab: NetherDifficulty:
Quick answer: Bring summer clothes
Advancements are exclusive to Java Edition. The Bedrock Edition equivalent is achievements, which have different objectives.
How to get Nether
- Build a nether portal: an obsidian frame at least 4 blocks wide and 5 tall (the corners are optional).
- Light it with flint and steel, a fire charge, or any spreading fire.
- Step through and wait for the world to load: arriving in the Nether completes this root and opens the Nether tab.
Tips
'Bring summer clothes' is the joke: the Nether is oceans of lava. One gold armor piece keeps piglins calm and a fire resistance potion makes the first trips far safer.
