How to Make Quartz Slab in Minecraft
Guide Java Bedrock
Quick answer: Put 3 quartz blocks in a crafting table (three blocks in one horizontal row) to make six slabs. A stonecutter also works: two slabs per quartz block, the same yield as crafting.
What you need
- 3 quartz blocks per craft
- Crafting table or stonecutter
- Pickaxe
Step by step
- Collect quartz blocks.
- Open a crafting table and place three blocks in one horizontal row.
- Take six slabs. One craft uses 3 blocks.
- To use a stonecutter, put one quartz block in it and choose the quartz slab output.
- Mine placed quartz slab with a pickaxe to get them back. Without a pickaxe they drop nothing.
Java vs Bedrock
The crafting recipe and the stonecutter route both exist for this block. For crafting, any quartz block (plain, chiseled or pillar) as the ingredient.
