How to get A Complete Catalogue

Tame all 11 cat variants: Tabby, Tuxedo, Red, Siamese, British Shorthair, Calico, Persian, Ragdoll, White, Jellie and Black.
Stray cats spawn in villages with at least one villager and four beds, so village-hopping is the core strategy. Each village cats spawn in random variants.
The Black cat is special: a guaranteed black cat spawns inside every Swamp Hut (witch hut), and black cats also spawn in villages during a full moon.
Tame them with Raw Cod or Raw Salmon: sneak, hold the fish, stand still and let the cat approach you, then feed it when it is close.

Tips

Cats sprint away from players who move quickly, so patience matters more than fish count. Tamed cats follow you, can be told to sit, and occasionally bring you morning gifts when you sleep, including Phantom Membranes for Slow Falling potions.
