How to get The End... Again...

Kill the ender dragon once first (see the Free the End guide).
Craft 4 end crystals: each one takes 7 glass, 1 eye of ender and 1 ghast tear.
Go to the exit portal, the bedrock fountain at the center of the End.
Place one end crystal on the middle of each of the portal's 4 sides.
The crystals rebuild the tower crystals and summon a new dragon. Stay within about 192 blocks of the portal center and the advancement is yours.

Tips

Respawned dragons drop 500 XP instead of the original 12,000, but each kill (up to 20) generates a new end gateway, the fastest way to the outer End islands without bridging.
