Carry plenty of bones (each tame is chance-based) and tame one wolf of each of the 9 variants.
Pale wolf: taiga. Woods wolf: forest. Ashen wolf: snowy taiga.
Black wolf: old growth pine taiga. Chestnut wolf: old growth spruce taiga. Snowy wolf: grove.
Rusty wolf: sparse jungle. Spotted wolf: savanna plateau. Striped wolf: wooded badlands.
Tame all nine with bones; the challenge completes on the last one and pays 50 XP.

Tips

The snowy wolf is the hardest: groves spawn it alone instead of in a pack, so finding one can take time. A nether tunnel linking a taiga, a grove and a savanna plateau covers six of the nine variants in one trip.
