How to get Wax On

Get a honeycomb: shear a full bee nest or beehive (honey level 5) with a campfire underneath to keep bees calm.
Find or place any copper block: plain copper, chiseled copper, copper bars, bulbs, doors, trapdoors, grates, stairs or slabs.
Use the honeycomb on the copper block: it turns waxy with a satisfying sound.
Waxing any of the 15 waxable copper variants completes the advancement.

Tips

Waxing freezes oxidation at whatever stage the copper is in, so wax a fully oxidized block if you love the green, or a fresh one to keep it shiny forever. An axe scrapes the wax off (see Wax Off).
