How to get How Did We Get Here?

This hidden challenge needs all 27 status effects at the same time. Build the classic machine: a water column or bubble elevator with an elder guardian nearby (Mining Fatigue), a shulker trap (Levitation), and a dolphin tank (Dolphin's Grace).
Stock up first: potions and splash potions for every effect, a turtle master potion, suspicious stews for the flower effects, a totem, golden apples, a conduit setup, a beacon, honey blocks, and a raid for Bad Omen into Hero of the Village.
Kill a raid captain for Bad Omen, then trigger and win a raid so it converts into Hero of the Village.
Set everything up in one spot and apply the effects in order of duration: longest first (conduit, beacon, elder guardian), shortest last (shulker levitation, dolphin, turtle master).
Get hit by the shulker, swim past the dolphin, drink the remaining potions, eat the gapple, and the advancement pops the moment the 27th effect lands.

Tips

Watch a video guide once before building - the exact station layout matters. Most players fail on the timing window of Dolphin's Grace and Levitation, so practice the last 10 seconds of the sequence. The advancement is hidden: it only appears in the tab after you earn it.
