How to get Postmortal

  1. Get a Totem of Undying: Evokers drop one every time. Find them in a Woodland Mansion, or in raid waves 5+ at a village.
  2. Hold the totem in your main hand or off-hand.
  3. Take fatal damage with the totem equipped: instead of dying, you get restored with Absorption, Regeneration and Fire Resistance, and the advancement triggers.

Tips

The safest way to trigger it on purpose is jumping off a tall pillar with the totem in hand. The totem does not save you from the void or from /kill, so it cannot help with Elytra accidents in the End void.
