How to get Is It a Bird?

  1. Craft a spyglass: 1 amethyst shard on top of 2 copper ingots.
  2. Find a parrot: they spawn in jungles, bamboo jungles and sparse jungles.
  3. Hold right-click with the spyglass to zoom in on the parrot.
  4. The advancement unlocks the moment the parrot is in your spyglass view.

Tips

Parrots imitate nearby hostile mobs, so following zombie or creeper sounds in a jungle often leads straight to one. Crouch and approach slowly: parrots fly off if you sprint at them.
