How to get Under Lock and Key

  1. Enter trial chambers (see the Minecraft: Trial(s) Edition guide).
  2. Fight through trial spawners: each completed spawner has a chance to eject a trial key as a reward.
  3. Find a vault: the block with the orange glowing face, dotted around the chambers.
  4. Use the trial key on the vault to unlock it and take your loot. Opening it completes the advancement.

Tips

Every player can open each vault once, so chambers stay worth visiting on servers. Ominous trials give ominous trial keys for the better ominous vaults (see Revaulting), but a plain key only fits plain vaults.
