How to get Careful Restoration

  1. Craft a brush from a feather, a copper ingot and a stick.
  2. Brush suspicious sand (desert pyramids, desert wells, warm ocean ruins) or suspicious gravel (trail ruins, cold ocean ruins) until you have 4 pottery sherds.
  3. At a crafting table, place one pottery sherd in each of the four slots around the center: top-middle, middle-left, middle-right and bottom-middle.
  4. Craft the decorated pot. All four slots must be sherds: using even one brick does not count.

Tips

Any four sherds work together, even from different sites and patterns. Sherds are common in warm ocean ruins, so an early-game brush plus a boat is the fastest route.
