How to get Two Birds, One Arrow

  1. Craft a crossbow and enchant it with Piercing, which lets arrows pass through mobs.
  2. Skip sleep for at least 3 in-game days so phantoms start spawning above you at night (or in thunderstorms).
  3. Weaken two phantoms with your sword until one more hit would kill each.
  4. Line both phantoms up and fire a single Piercing arrow through them. Both must die from that one arrow; the challenge pays 65 XP.

Tips

Standing on a small tower at night makes phantoms dive at you in straight lines, which is the easiest moment to catch two in one shot. Multishot is the wrong enchantment here: you need exactly one arrow, so use Piercing.
