Advancements are exclusive to Java Edition. The Bedrock Edition equivalent is achievements, which have different objectives.
How to get Ol' Betsy
- Get a crossbow: craft one with 3 sticks, 2 string, 1 iron ingot and 1 tripwire hook, loot one from pillager outpost or bastion chests, or take it from a pillager or crossbow piglin that drops it.
- Carry arrows (or firework rockets) anywhere in your inventory.
- Hold use to load the crossbow: it stays loaded until you fire.
- Press use again to shoot. Your first shot completes the advancement.
Tips
Quick Charge III makes reloading almost instant and Multishot fires three projectiles at once; both enchantments are crossbow-only. Loading firework rockets turns the crossbow into a small grenade launcher with area damage.
