How to get Who's the Pillager Now?

  1. Craft a crossbow: 3 sticks, 2 string, 1 iron ingot and 1 tripwire hook.
  2. Find a pillager: patrols roam the overworld, and pillager outposts always have several.
  3. Load the crossbow and shoot the pillager.
  4. The killing blow must come from the crossbow shot; the advancement unlocks on the kill.

Tips

Pillagers drop their crossbow about 8.5% of the time (more with Looting), so an early patrol can hand you the weapon for free. Weaken the pillager with a sword first, then finish it with one bolt.
