How to get Zombie Doctor

1. Find a zombie villager: about 5% of zombies that spawn naturally are zombie villagers. You can also let a zombie kill a villager (100% conversion on Hard, 50% on Normal, 0% on Easy).
2. Trap it safely: push it into a boat or a closed, roofed space so it cannot burn in daylight or escape, and so other mobs cannot interrupt.
3. Hit it with a Splash Potion of Weakness (brewed with a Fermented Spider Eye and a Water Bottle, no blaze powder needed). The villager should show the Weakness swirls.
4. Right-click it with a regular Golden Apple (not an enchanted one). You will hear a loud sound and red particles appear.
5. Wait 3 to 5 minutes. Placing iron bars and a bed within a 9x9x9 area around it shortens the wait.

Tips

Cured villagers give you permanent trade discounts, and curing the same villager repeatedly stacks the discounts up to the maximum. This pairs perfectly with Hero of the Village for the cheapest trades in the game.
